  • Shop till you drop at a designer boutique specialising in design and lifestyle
  • From furniture to fragrance, check out a carefully curated collection
  • Explore wares from both superstar designers and local craftspeople

If any boutique deserves pride of place on your shopping itinerary in Tokyo, it’s Cibone, the massive Aoyama interiors and lifestyle emporium curated by the uber-talented Masaki Yokokawa. We know there’s so much exploring (i.e., shopping) to do in Aoyama and Omotesando, but we suggest you plan on devoting at least an hour to browsing to your heart’s content at Cibone. (The shop is just a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of the Gaien-mae Station.) The collection includes everything from furniture to clothing and housewares to stationery and even fragrance. We particularly love this shop for its cheeky sensibility and the selection of offerings from both established international design stars and up-and-coming local craftspeople.

Found in the Minamiaoyama area of Tokyo, Cibone is on Aoyama Dori, the main road running from Nagatacho to Hachiko. Very close by to Gaien-Mae Station, the Cibone building is the one with the topsy-turvy twisted roof like an M.C. Escher painting.

CIBONE: 2F 2-27-25 Minamiaoyama Minato-ku +81-(0)3-3475-8017; cibone.com
